I created Otola as a safe space to share our multidimensional histories because there just aren’t enough stories about us that reflect the texture of our lives or experiences. Mainstream media replays the same old tired narratives of us. And the uniqueness of our voices get lost.

Rarely are we portrayed as having full lives with deeply complex, diverse, and moving backstories. I want to make sure the depth and breadth of all of our experiences are captured on this platform, and I’d like for you to be part of the progress that honors our stories, by adding yours.
